How much weight can we haul?

The truck weight capacity is one disposal bin plus 8 000 lbs (3600 kg or 4 tonnes approximately) of debris.

What do I need to do to rent a bin, or schedule junk collection?

Please call 705-733-BINS (2467) to schedule a bin. At time of booking we require a full name, address, phone number, email address, date & time requested for bin delivery and pick up, credit card number and the size of the bin required. If you are not sure what size you require please contact us by phone or email and we can help you decide.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Interac E-transfers. Acceptance of cheques can be arranged by calling the office to arrange the pick-up details.

What size of bin do I need?

The size of the bin required depends on what you intend to put in it. The 10 or 14 yard bins are the most common size for household, renovation or construction waste. When filled they will contain 0.5 to 1.5 tonnes of household, renovation or construction waste on average.
The 5 yard bins are required for topsoil, sod, gravel, concrete or asphalt, as these items are much heavier. When 80% filled with these items it will reach our capacity of 4 tonnes. Also when loading these items please note it must be non-mixed waste. Any mixed waste topsoil, gravel, sod, concrete or asphalt will incur additional charges.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Our delivery and pick up hours can extend beyond that, and will include Saturdays during peak seasons. Please note our pick up hours on evenings and Saturdays must be within the MOECC approved waste transfer station’s hours, as we cannot legally by Ontario law hold any waste at our facility.

How do you come up with the pricing for bin rentals?

The complete bin rental price includes the delivery, rental and pick up. Disposal fees are extra and is charged at $100 + HST per metric tonne. Additional charges may be incurred for bins overloaded past the fill line, mixed materials in 5 yard bins (any combination of soil, gravel, sod, concrete or asphalt mixed together), requests for bins to be moved or rescheduled pick up of bin due to access to the bin being blocked. We factor in the location and driving distance, the size of bin, the amount/weight of waste and the type of waste when determining the exact price.

Does anyone need to be home for delivery and pick up?

No, as long as you provide us the desired drop location for the bin, plus any other pertinent information we may require.

Where do you service?

We service Barrie, Springwater, Oro-Medonte, Essa, Tiny and Tay Townships, including Elmvale, Wasaga Beach, Stayner, Collingwood, Midland, Penetanguishene, Coldwater, Orillia, Alcona, Bradford, Cookstown, Alliston, Angus and Borden, plus everywhere in between.

How high can I load the bin?

The fill line is approximately 6 inches below the top ledge. Please do not load past the fill line in order for the load to be legally tarped and transported. Please note any bins loaded past the fill line may be unloaded to reach the fill line and additional charges will be applied. If the bin is getting full please contact us to arrange a second bin, which on most occasions can be accommodated at a discounted rate.

What happens if I need the bin longer than I originally planned?

If you need the bin longer please contact our office to arrange an extended date. The daily rate to extend the rental past the 3 or 7 day rental period is $12.00 per day.
